Bulimia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder which occurs when a person binges on food and then uses different methods--such as vomiting--to avoid weight gain. This disorder is most common in teenage girls. These are the girls that feel most threatened by the images of women they see in the media. Vomiting, laxatives, or excessive exercise after binges contributes to the diagnosis of this disorder.
